We collect information directly from you when you register and set up your profile within the Vehicle Entry Management System (VEMS) application. This includes:

• Personal Details: First Name, Last Name, Student Number, Department, and academic Year.
• Contact Information: Registered Email address and Mobile Phone Number.
• Vehicle Information: Vehicle Type (2-wheeler/4-wheeler), Model Name, and License Plate Registration Number.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely to facilitate security checks and control access to the college campus, including:

• Verifying your identity as an authorized campus member (student, staff, or guard).
• Generating QR passes or license-plate entry logs at campus gate terminals.
• Notifying you of vehicle gate entries or approvals.
• Enhancing security and audit trails in case of safety issues inside the campus.

3. Data Storage & Security

All sensitive information, authentication tokens, and user credentials are encrypted and stored locally in protected keychain directories on your mobile device (using secure storage) and secure cloud databases. We employ strict access controls to ensure that only authorized guard gates can verify your vehicle status.

4. Your Rights & Deletion Request

Under Google Play and privacy guidelines, you have absolute control over your personal data. You can delete your account and request complete wipe of your logs directly from the Profile tab in the VEMS application, or online using our Delete Account tab above.
